Overview & Objectives:

The purpose of selection is to predict the candidate who will be most successful in a role within an organisation.

To undertake this successfully, an interviewer needs to consider three critical questions;

1. Can the candidate do the job?
2.
Will the candidate do the job well?
3.
Does the candidate fit the culture?

To answer these questions, it is important that recruiters have a thorough understanding of the recruitment process and how to increase the hiring accuracy throughout this process.

This one-day instructor-led program is designed to assist in-house recruiters to understand ‘Best Practice’ interviewing techniques and how interviewing accuracy can be maximised.

• Identify the components of a structured behavioural descriptive interview
• Display the use of varied questioning techniques
• Compose competency based behavioural descriptive interview questions and rating scales
