Overview & Objectives:

This three-day instructor-led course provides students with an understanding of how the NAC Appliance (Cisco Clean Access) network admission control solution can recognise users, their devices and roles, evaluates the security posture of the endpoint, scans for vulnerabilities and enforces policies in the network.

Furthermore, this course teaches students about how the NAC Appliance (Cisco Clean Access) solution allows administrators to authenticate, authorise, interrogate and remediate users and their machines prior to allowing users onto the network.

After completing this course participants can register to sit the (CANAC) 642-591 exam.

Who Should Attend:

Prerequisites:

Before attending this course, students must have:

• Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system
• Familiarity with networking and security terminology and concepts
• Fundamental knowledge of implementing network security
• Working knowledge of digital certificates
• Completed their CCSP certification or equivalent knowledge
• Completed Cisco course BCMSN or have working knowledge of VLANs
• Completed Cisco course BSCI or have working knowledge of HSRP
