The learning objectives of the MD-101: Managing Modern Desktops course include understanding how to deploy and update operating systems, manage policies and profiles, manage and protect devices, and manage apps and data. The course aims to develop expertise in deploying, configuring, securing, managing, monitoring devices and client applications in an enterprise environment. It also provides knowledge on managing identity, access, policies and updates. Participants will gain skills in managing BIOS/UEFI and drive encryption, application and script package deployments, monitoring the device condition and performance, and providing data protection using encryption and data loss prevention policies.
